The Engagement

Clarity first. Then the move.

Three ways in, one method. The free Career-Fit Conversation, the four-week Career-Fit Plan, or the six-month Career-Fit Move.

Recognition

You probably recognize yourself in one of these.

Pattern 1

The Caged Operator

You're still good at the customer-facing work, the brand work, the sales relationships, the team you've built. What drains you is the internal battles: a manager who won't move, a culture that's shifted under you, a scope that's been quietly cut. You're carrying the impact you used to deliver in your bones, and you don't recognize the role anymore.

Pattern 2

The Builder Who Became a Mailbox

You came up making things: campaigns, brands, businesses, teams. Now you forward decks between markets and head office. You can feel the builder part of yourself going quiet. The salary is good. The pension is real. And you wonder, on the train home, whether you'll ever build anything again.

Pattern 3

Bore-Out, Not Burn-Out

You're not exhausted. You're under-stretched. The role doesn't ask anything of you that you can't do in your sleep. You've been told you should be grateful, most people would be. You're not. You can feel yourself coasting and you can feel the coast getting longer.

Pattern 4

The Long-Tenure Quiet Builder

Twenty-five, thirty, forty years in one or two companies. Multiple internal changes. A creative or professional practice on the side that you've been quietly running for years. You're not pursuing an exit, you're trying to do this new internal role well and finally give the side practice some structured attention.

Whichever one is yours, the work that follows is the same shape.

Most career change advice is a choosing problem: decide what you want, then go get it. That's exactly the move that doesn't work for someone in your position, because the picture you'd be choosing from is incomplete.

The body is running on stress it's normalized. The creator-builder identity has been suppressed so long it barely registers. The structure of the current role hides what's actually wrong. Choose from that picture and you get another role that looks good on paper and feels wrong in your bones.

From a coin toss to a decision you can keep.

By the end of the work you have three things you don't have now: a body that recovers from misalignment-stress instead of storing it, an identity that holds the builder and the operator inside one coherent story, and a four-path map of what your next chapter can actually be.

A deliberate choice made among the paths. The structure to walk it.

Three layers run quietly underneath the career work: Growth, the ambition and direction; Vitality, the body and energy base; Joy, the savoring and joy projects that keep the engine fed. The framework is drawn from the Neurointegration method Kate is trained in. It supports the career path. It is not the offer.

Not a new you. The same you, with the picture finally in focus.

The Path

Three steps. You choose how far you go.

Step 1

The Career-Fit Conversation

Start here

$0

Free 45-min 1:1 call

What you leave with

A single-page Career-Fit Summary, yours to keep, naming the pattern you're in with precision. A clear read on whether the Aligned Career Method is the right fit for your situation, or if a different route serves you better. If we're not a fit, I'll say so.

How we get there

  • One 45-minute 1:1 video call, booked at your pace.
  • You describe the situation. I ask the questions that surface the real shape of it.
  • You choose your next step: Step 2, Step 3, or neither.

Step 2

The Career-Fit Plan

The Foundational Element

$1,999

Four-week 1:1 diagnostic

What you leave with

A Four-Path Map built for you: the four career paths available from where you stand, each one named and sized to your constraints. For most clients this is the moment the picture unsticks.

A written decision to one path, inside a 15 to 20 page diagnostic with an Archetype Map, Current-Situation Diagnostic, and Decision Criteria Inventory. Plus a Vitality and Joy snapshot so the practices that sustain the path are visible from week four.

How we get there

  • Three 90-minute sessions, async support throughout.
  • Bonus: 90-min Conversation Prep Session.
  • Refundable in full if the maps aren't delivered.
  • Fee credits forward into the full engagement.

Step 3

The Career-Fit Move

Six-month 1:1 advisory

$3,999

Implementation of the path you chose in Step 2

Launch pricing, first five clients.

What you leave with

A market-ready package for your chosen path: positioning, a rebuilt CV and LinkedIn, outreach in motion, and the interview reps to walk in ready. The strongest candidate you've been for the role you actually want.

How we get there

  • Five months of named-method delivery: job-crafting, positioning, CV and applications, interview prep, mindset.
  • Weekly sessions early, bi-weekly later, async throughout.
  • Vitality and identity practices run quietly underneath, from the Neurointegration training, so the push stays sustainable and the path holds.
  • Pause-and-resume built in.

The Four Paths

Four paths. One gets chosen by week four.

Every engagement walks one of these. The path is named in writing at the end of the Career-Fit Plan. The Career-Fit Move is the walking.

Job-craft inside

You stay, but the role becomes one you can actually do. We rebuild the task boundaries, the relational boundaries, and the decision-rights. We run the conversations with your boss using a pressure-tested method: positioning the redesign, sequencing the asks, surfacing what she actually has authority to change.

What gets built

  • An internal positioning brief
  • A stakeholder map
  • Three difficult-conversation scripts
  • A 90-day role-redesign plan

Best fit for. The Caged Operator with a workable boss. The Builder Who Became a Mailbox if the company can absorb the redesign.

Internal lateral shift

You move inside the company, to a role that actually uses you. We re-position you for that role (different from the one you currently hold), prep the sponsor conversations, and sequence the internal applications.

What gets built

  • Internal-move positioning
  • Sponsor conversation prep
  • A lateral-move 90-day plan

Best fit for. The Caged Operator whose company has the right role somewhere else. The Long-Tenure Quiet Builder navigating a new internal chapter.

External move

You leave. We rebuild your CV and LinkedIn for the role you actually want, which is often different from the one you currently hold. We work through the hiring conversations, the interview prep, and the mindset coaching that gets you into those rooms calm and prepared.

What gets built

  • A re-positioned CV
  • A re-positioned LinkedIn profile
  • Three hiring-conversation scripts
  • A target-employer list with sequencing
  • A 90-day external-move plan

Best fit for. The Caged Operator in a company that can't change. The Builder Who Became a Mailbox who needs a different building. The Bore-Out who needs a role that actually stretches.

Side hustle alongside

You stay in the day job and build something on the side that uses the builder part of you. We position the side practice, design the offer, and build the time architecture so it grows without taking down the day job.

What gets built

  • An offer-direction document for the side practice
  • Brand positioning
  • A time-architecture plan
  • A 90-day build plan

Best fit for. The Builder Who Became a Mailbox who can't or won't leave. The Long-Tenure Quiet Builder ready to give the side practice oxygen.

The Work

What I actually do in those five months.

  1. 01

    Job-crafting conversation method

Pressure-tested across multinational org politics. Positioning, sequencing, and the actual scripts.

  2. 02

Personal brand and positioning for credibility

So you're credible against the role you want, not the role you currently hold.

  3. 03

    Hands-on CV and application support

Re-positioned CV, LinkedIn, and target-list sequencing. Built with you, not handed to you.

  4. 04

    Interview prep support

Question prep, story prep, scenario rehearsals against real shortlists.

  5. 05

Mindset coaching through the interview process

Going into rooms calm. Recovering from rejections without losing the path.

Body work and identity work run underneath all five. Vitality practices keep the push sustainable. Joy practices keep the engine fed. Identity work keeps the chosen path holding against the wobbles. They are supports for the career change, not the destination.

If the path needs to change

We commit to one path and execute against it. If the world for that path materially fails, your boss leaves, the role gets filled, the family situation shifts, we re-commit to a different path from the same four-path map and rebuild the plan.

Default posture is commit and execute. The re-commitment is the safety valve, used deliberately.

This isn't for everyone. On purpose.

For you if

  • You're a Director of Marketing or Sales, 40 to 55, in a multinational or large national company.
  • You've built things before and you're in a role that no longer lets you.
  • You want a clear decision more than a quick exit.
  • You have things worth protecting and "burn the boats" was never going to work for you.

Not for you if

  • You're in an active job search and want placement, not clarity (that's a recruiter's job, not mine).
  • You want someone to tell you the one right answer (the method gives you a clear picture; the choice stays yours).
  • You're looking for a quick confidence boost (this is slower and more honest).
  • You want me to change who you are (I won't; the last thing this work does is ask you to lose yourself).

The Method

Merge before you move.

The work runs on one principle: merge before you move. Before any career action gets taken, three dimensions, body, identity, and structure, get integrated into a single clear picture. Four phases carry it (Map the Shape, Stabilize the Body, Integrate the Identity, Build the Structure), and three layers run through all of them at once: Tactical, Strategic, and Identity-Anchoring.

Underneath, three layers from the Neurointegration method Kate is trained in keep the engagement sustainable: Growth, the ambition and direction; Vitality, the body and energy base; Joy, the savoring and joy projects that keep the engine fed. They support the career work. They are not a separate program.

Why me

Twenty years inside the exact environments you work in. Brand Lead at New Balance with a fifty-person team and a P&L. Head of Digital Content at Groupe SEB running five brands at once. Agency craft at BBDO and Leo Burnett before any of it. ICF Coach Level 1 and Neurointegration Institute training. I'm not a coach who learned your world from the outside. I'm a senior operator who has lived your pattern, ten years further along.
